Did the prime rib on the smoker at 220*. When internal temp reached 130 pulled it, put a tent over it , let sit about 20 minutes.
Turned up smoker to 400* ,stuck it back in the smoker, when internal temp hit 146 i pulled it off the smoker.
Turned out great, really happy with it . Reverse sear.
What's the learning curve on Prime Rib? I'm getting a smoker as one of my tax return gifts to myself and want to start cooking things I've never done. Prime rib is one of them.
