So I wasn't kidding when I said my mom wasn't tech savvy. She wouldn't know how to redeem the Amazon gift card online, honest 2 God. I could show her but I just think that makes an already tacky gift even more tacky. I was thinking about getting her a pressure cooker but I feel awkward about giving her a cooking utensil, feels wrong.

Not at all. I got her a cert to a SPA years ago and she never even used it!

I'm thinking maybe a pair of NAPA leather gloves lined with cashmere. Just to find out her hand size without giving the gift away.

Well with women you typically can't miss on gifting accessories. Gloves, belts, purses, shoes, jewelry or a gift card to their favorite clothing store (just be sure to ask a woman's opinion on the item as we men are mostly fashion blind).
