Today couldn’t have gone better for Bears trade down prospects.

Both Young and Stroud going off on the biggest stage. Even Levis looks good with Kentucky putting up a goose egg without him.

now it comes down to their combines (can they make all the nfl throws) and wonderlic scores.

Sanders score in the wonderlic was . . .

Pretty sure the tape will give everything scouts need to know about their throwing ability lol. JFC.

I'm certain the scouts have seen enough. No questions remain for either Stroud or Young.

I'm just happy that the Bear's have their franchise qb because no one in the draft comes close to being one of them. I'm leaning toward a trade down from number two. I don't see any non quarterback in the draft head and shoulders above a guy taken three or four spots lower.

I was thinking the exact same thing.

I thought Young looked bad though.
Not in the same class as Fields, not sure why anyone would pay a high first for Young.

I hope this helps would rather get a draft day haul. But didn’t fields have a 6td performance? That didn’t seem to help him get drafted in the top 5

Yes. Levis? Lots of questions.

Both Stroud and Young have great awareness and can make all the throws.

Young has size questions that won’t be answered until he plays in the league.

Stroud has his own questions and one game does not answer them. It’s the totality of their career.

But to claim “no questions remain” is laughable. Scouts ALWAYS have questions…. Always…. Like that’s how the draft process works. One good or bad game doesn’t completely change things.

Uh…. Seriously?

Yeah…

These guys look like they could be Hurts without the intelligence.

Stroud might make it, but I thought Young’s poise was extremely questionable against KSU.

Yeah he came back and they put up a few points on a big 12 school. What was impressive about the QB performance?

Sometimes being an Alabama QB is as easy as feeding a baby.

Just because Fields and Hurts broke out of the mold, one with exceptional running ability, the other with exceptional intangibles, does not mean we should stop questioning QBs thriving on dominant squads.

How many QBs wish they had Marvin Harrison Jr to throw to?

I mean who really knows? ?‍♂️

My point is simply that scout’s obviously will have questions still. To act as if one game answers everything is silly.

If they shit the bed on the biggest stage it most certainly effects their draft stock. The high value QB's draft stock tends to rise leading up to the draft, which makes Fields' drop along with the rise of season opt out Trey Lance and Mormon milf masher Zach Wilson a fortunate franchise changing anomaly.

Finishing strong in big boy games is just one more thing GM's can use to talk themselves into a trade up.
As long as one of these guy don't get Dan Orlovsky'ed the Bears should be able to turn the 1-2, if they don't **** up the next 2 wks, into some serious picks.

I'm certain the scouts have seen enough. No questions remain for either Stroud or Young.

all the questions about their character and who they are as men remain

the questions about how they will transition to the pros where expectations and work load skyrocket but all the oversight disappears.
