CJ on giving up #32 for Rip, switching to #7: "I don’t have to tell you but of course I got something. I wasn’t just going to give it up."

I miss him, but he is a changed man. He HATES the Bulls now, how can a Bulls fan want him back. Just remember, he disowned us. We made him a generous offer, he refused, then when FA hit, we made him a smaller offer, which was confirmed by his agent, but he tried to play it off like we ignored him? Diva much? I also would never have paid him the money that Detroit gave him, then we would be a much weaker team today.

I never once liked, let alone loved, Ben Gordon. He's my Bulls equivalent of Sam-me Sosa.

Every decision he made as a Chicago Bull was manifested in his own self-absorbed fascination with himself. His many desperate attempts to be a hero when other players were open for jumpers (though he made several of those shots) are a clear example.

Not to mention that he was terrible, defensively.

Allow me to break it down to you sir.
For one, Loul Deng turned his first offer down too....And then Pax gave him a much much better offer.......How come Gordon didn't get the same treatment and appreciation from Pax......After all, at that time, B.G was the most valuable Bull...

I agree he wanted to get paid all star player money so the Bulls let him go.

Luol wasn't disruptive, and Ben didn't want to stay here anyways.

How is winning games and rescuing a horrible offensive team called disruptive???

LoL, I got a good chuckle out of the "disruptive" comment....Jeeeez.
Ben Gordon was not disruptive, but he was a class act here....

And seldomly on this forum do people mention how good Rose and Gordon were playing together...I think they needed more than one season to fully gel and know each others roll.....
But it don't matter, what's done is done and the past is the past.
B.G is gone.
Rip Hamilton is here.......Let's play ball....Go Bulls

Pretty cool decision by C.J. to put the number of Bulls titles after the 2011/2012 season on his jersey!

I miss BG like crazy, but he isn't as good now. I'd take Rip and CJ together over Gordon.
