I claim the following:

1) That the Bears defense would return to respectability and improve throughout the season until ultimately by the end of the season are playing like a top 10 defense

2) Tyler Lockett

1) Cameron Meredith is going to be a star in this league. He reminds me very much of Jeff Graham.
2) Our starting cornerbacks will be Alan Ball and Terry Porter, and it will be an outstanding duo by the end of the year. Both of those guys can straight-up cover man-to-man (yeah I know Ball had some TDs caught on him, but I still maintain he was in position to contest the throw which is the hard-part, getting your head around soon enough can be corrected with coaching).
3) By the end of the year, Jeremiah Ratliff will be starting at defensive end, not at NT.
4) Agree with you about the Bears defense being a top-10 defense; it was apparent even in pre-season.

Of course, I have thus far been majorly wrong about the record. I predicted wins against GB and Seattle and a loss against the Raiders, so....

Well, I did say before the season started, but it is only the end of the first quarter, so new fresh #calledits are welcome. Bearmick better hurry before somebody claims his Jarvis Jenkins on him.

1) The Beard defense will continue to get better every week and will be above 50% owned in fantasy leagues by week 8.

2) M.Forte will get traded and i might shed a tear but it's best for the team.

3) Cutty will continue to look good in this A.Gase offense.

4) M.Wilson will score a TD this week.

I pray that you are right about next week. I have a friend who is as much of a KC fan as I am a Bears fan, and would love to have bragging rights on this. I am not as optimistic as you are on it though.

Clearly I was much more optimistic back in May prior to actually getting to see this team in action predicting 6 whole wins.... I'd alter that to 3 or 4 wins based on what I've seen from the Bears and teams on our upcoming schedule. As bad as the Lions are I think we'll be lucky to split with them, same with Minn. SF still seems like a winnable game but Washington is a toss up IMO.

I liked Lockett, but he certainly wasn't my guy or anything.

I wanted them to take an edge rusher to pair up with McPhee. I wanted Vic Beasley and I hear he is playing well....

I desperately wanted them to take Amos for value late and thought he could start in the league. I've been told this is meaningless by some troll on here since other people held this view. Apparently the 141 picks chosen before him are meaningless, lol.

Thought they would win 5-6 games this yr and thought sunshine pumpers who thought a 8-8+ record was possible we're insane.

Wasn't a fan of Jameis' prospects to be a dominant pro (way to early, but yeah)

There have definitely been some misses as well, but when you're opinionated, you'll be wrong sometimes.

Arm looks lively and better than last yr where I thought it lost some zing to be honest.
