So I'm curious as to how you're making your roads...I supposedly make really realistic roads (when I get off my ass, I'll send you some photos). Mine is probably not the cheapest option, but it all depends on what kind of look you're going for.

The road and pavement department is what my dad does for the layout.

He puts a layer of plaster (something similar) lets it set and dry then paints it.

yeah feel free to show what your technique is.. still have some roads to do yet

Pulled out a few older engines..

Put a decoder in one.. then noticed it probably has a stripped gear.. shit.

then some older steam engines that will need work.
