As for the complaints about the Rooney Rule, there were 9 minority head coaches and 13 team presidents or general managers that are minorities so seems to be working just fine.
Well the Raiders have already made it as clear as they possibly could that they want him, and that was before they said they're interviewing his boy Newark for their GM job. He’s not going to be coach of the Bears unless the Raiders decide they don’t want him.
The only thing that scares me about BJ is all the talent the Lions had. Its a crazy talented team.
people will frame it as they missed their guy cause Caleb sucksPretty sure not hiring ben johnson wont be embarassing, especially for the bears.
Mccarthy, Joe Brady, and Monken are all legit candidates too. ITs not like they are settling for a random ass candidate.
This is the first time the bears job has arguably been the most desirable in a coaching search.
The Raiders, Jets, and Jacksonville all have terrible owners.Everything was correct until the last line— even though he’s definitely not JD, there is nothing to suggest the first 4 descriptions of him are remotely true.
So do the Bears. The Raiders, Jets, and Jacksonville all have terrible owners.
Woody Johnson might be the worst.
Mark Davis is laughable.
Shad Khan kept Trent Baalke.
He turned down their interview request way before the draft so they didn't even have Jaden Daniels.I didn’t want to coach Jayden Daniels, he beat my teams ass in the playoffs. I’m gunna go to the Raiders! What an idiot. One of the dumbest decisions of all time if true.
There is plenty out there you’re just choosing not to see it. Do you remember when Thomas Brown got the offensive coordinator job and it was reported that he had never even talked to Caleb Williams? And that there was actually a mandate that only three coaches on the staff could even speak to him?Everything was correct until the last line— even though he’s definitely not JD, there is nothing to suggest the first 4 descriptions of him are remotely true.
They didn’t go to Hooker when Goff went down; this should tell you everything. I wouldn’t rule out a trade for Hooker but I doubt he gets anything higher than a 5th.
No way this is real and the Raiders are that thirsty.![]()
Lmao. Yes this is definite proof of him being a cancer and locker room diva. Seems legit. There is plenty out there you’re just choosing not to see it. Where do you think that rule came from? Definitely not the Bears.
You want to play stupid and live in da Nile? That’s fine. But the signs are literally all there in bright neon colors and you are CHOOSING (as in making a conscious choice) to ignore them.
The way to think about it is what’s the base productivity of the lions and how much incremental lift did BJ add.The only thing that scares me about BJ is all the talent the Lions had. Its a crazy talented team.
It is.Lmao. Yes this is definite proof of him being a cancer and locker room diva. Seems legit.
Well, there's also the fact that if he wanted Drake Maye instead, they could have drafted him over Daniels if he took the Washington job last year.
I’m sure they’ll wait to do the GM anyway so Ben can still pick. If he’s off the board, they’ll just have to decide. But yea, some idiot like that can always spin things how he wants.Already left yourself an out. Would be a shame if they hired that former Lions exec to be their GM. Would make you trying to make that argument awfully difficult.![]()
WTF are you even talking about? Please share some credible sources that back up this pure nonsense. There is plenty out there you’re just choosing not to see it.
