But I’m told that feelings between the Jags and Johnson are warmer than the feelings between the Bears and Johnson, and that Johnson wishes the Bears would be as accommodating to him as the Jags have been!?!

You’re told?

Neither team has been able to talk to him yet, but one team has been more accommodating?

What pictures does Daboll have of Mara to keep him from getting fired. You gotta wonder...

The Patriots requested an interview with Johnson. I’d say they are the top competition. As long as the Bears can land Johnson or Vrabel I’m happy, both have pros and cons, but are a clear cut above the other options in my opinion.
Yeah i'm right there with you on my top two being Mike Vrabel and Ben Johnson. They've been my top two all along but pretty sure the Patriots firing of Mayo was for Mike Vrabel. They have their QB and a ton of cap money to spend (think it's like $133 mil or some shit like that) with their draft picks. To get Ben Johnson the Bears would have to be all in with him. Huge contract and if he wants Poles gone then that's what we would need to do and just not sure our ownership will let those things happen.

Jets throwing a wide net out there.
Seems a bit too wide... I'd think you dump some resumes in the initial screening, but they may realize their situation is bad and they may lose out on a lot of candidates and need to have ducks in a row if that happens.

Based off of a fans opinion? Have you seen the thoughts posted in this form?

It was a joke. I'm not even kidding when I say that was the first quote tweet that came up and it made me laugh because I have no idea who that coach even is so of course he's getting an interview w/Poles if he isn't fired. I expect a bunch of people I've never heard of to interview with the Bears because most likely the top candidates will want a new GM with them. So, if Poles stays, looking at likely c or d tier candidates for HC.

They have a chance at Johnson because of the jags are stupider than the Bears.

CHGO trash
It's business, but getting rid of Nick M and keeping others was a bad move, Hoge is better on Hoge and Jahns than he is on CHGO. They seem to have made up their minds that they want more meatball and less straight forward reporting and conversation.

According to Adam Hoge, yes. Listen to the link in that post.
