Maybe this name is brought up later in this thread ( I haven't reached the end) but the assistant he might covet the most for OC is Tanner Engstrand, Lions passing game coordinator. My guess is the Lions heir apparent to BJ.
Seems he overlaps with Johnsons skill set so makes more sense to replace Johnson in Detroit. Fraley or Randle-El would seem to make more sense as guys that complement what Johnson already brings to the table.

So the Bears are trading for Brock Purdy?
I really don’t get his point. The Niners made a pick. So therefore Ben Johnson came here only to get rid of Caleb?? Lol

yes remy let the hate flow through you…be who you have always been
Umm you were the one trying to make it about race by invoking DEI and celebrating an unqualified white man. Not my fault it blew up in your face like a bukkake scene.

Tell me how Colorado should have made the playoff again. Or how Thomas Brown was The Answer. You’re such a little wimp when it comes to what I’m referring to here.

No he is actually right. The weird obsession with bringing DEI up and always talking shit about anyone black on the staff is rampant on this site.
He's calling a spade a spade. I've been on this site for years and have noticed these patterns. Do better.

This has zero relevance to the Bears. Nice try at attempting some r3tarded parallel but you don’t have a point. I have no idea if Caleb will be that guy but there is no way in hell that he wouldn’t have come if he didn’t think he could work with Caleb. Warren & Poles made that abundantly clear in their interview; whatever happened in SF is irrelevant to Ben Johnson coming here.
Exactly---Any coach coming in on a highly-touted QB's second season should know he's married to that QB. Especially if the incoming coach doesn't have GM powers.

Add in a first-time head coach that's being highly sought---That guy ain't going into a situation where he's shoe-horned in with a QB he doesn't think can be the answer.

It's the oddest comparison in CCS 2025.

I mean he doesn't care for Williams. Maybe he should go root for the 9ers? Their QB is pretty pale

Or maybe the guy they should’ve taken a first overall who is one game away from the Super Bowl. But that doesn’t fit the narrative does it? Ryan Poles and the Bears are just plainly incompetent.

That's not relevant to the point you're trying to make. Unless you're alluding that Trey Lance is the starting QB for the Commanders

The Bears have had uber hyped offensive guys for as long as I can remember. The Bears media and delusional fans will give a million reasons why this guy is different, just like you got a million reasons why all these past guys were different.
Blah blah bla bla blah blah blah bla bla bla bla blah blah!

Of course it is. There was a generational quarterback in this draft but the Bears didn’t take him because they wanted the guy who painted his nails and redefines masculinity.
