It's saying that excuses are bullshit and Illinois had every opportunity to win the game and didn't.
Nobody is claiming that the calls were literally the only factor in the entire game but impact the outcome. But the ridiculous “yeah, the refs protected the big ten’s cfp chances and screwed you, but you could have thrown 4 td passes so it doesn’t matter” is a bit silly.

The first drive-by Michigan was horrible defense by Illinois and it certainly had a big impact in a two point game. But that doesn’t somehow make it OK to say we’re gonna call it a complete pass when it’s clearly on the ground.

Remember when Trevor Lawrence was a once-a-decade NFL QB prospect? USC’s Caleb Williams is a way, way better NFL prospect than Lawrence ever was. Don’t see how UCLA stays in this game…

Yeah. I've said Williams is the best QB in the country for a minute now. His arm talent, accuracy and ability to manipulate with the off platform stuff is extremely rare.

South Carolina has had 10 possessions (excluding getting the ball at the end of the half with 12 seconds remaining).

They have 9 touchdowns.

Does Tennessee’s loss open the door for 2 big ten teams provided the loser of The Game keeps that game very close?

The committee is hard at work trying to figure out how to justify a two-loss Bama team. :ROFLMAO:

JJ McCarthy at one point was on his knee with the ball, got up and scrambled for a first.
The pass Interference was completely phantom.
completed pass with the ball very clearly hitting the ground was ridiculous, though perhaps not significant.

Conferences won't let their cash opportunity slip away in an upset. $ trumps fairness.
The pass interference call was obvious. He literally grabbed Bell so he could only go up with one hand.

Let's assume Georgia beats LSU in the SEC Championship. Because if they don't, LSU probably gets in as a 2 loss SEC Champion.
Also assume TCU wins the Big 12 Championship.

1. Georgia
2. OSU / Michigan winner
3. TCU
4. Toss up between OSU / Michigan loser, Clemson, 1 loss USC Pac 10 Champion

To me, my gut tells me that it would be USC if they only have 1 loss and are a conference champion. Clemson being currently ranked below USC is telling. If Michigan loses, the fault on them will be their out of conference schedule. If Ohio State loses, they will be penalized for losing at home. Also, the loser of that game will have failed to play in their conference championship game. That can sting.

I think it would be USC, but I fear they favor Clemson. Clemson may have only one loss but they suck.

Michigan just got gifted some yards. That was 100% an incompletion, and not even close. Yet replay confirmed it. Whaaaat?

Ohio State will beat that ass next weekend anyway.
That 6 or 7 yards didn’t really matter for the FG. That kick was good from 50

And people said that last year, too. Though, I agree Ohio State looks to be the better team
? michigan has em on the ropes with 10 min to go in the game

And I still stand by they looked the better team heading into the game. Just like Vegas thought they did. I’m not sure what point you’re pathetically trying to make here

Literal translation of what I said…

Michigan has a good shot in the game, even though Ohio state looks to be the better team on paper heading into game

@nc0gnet0 “ooooo you so stupid with how wrong your take was!!!”

Like wtf kind of lions life you living to claim that as some sort of big “win” for you?
