What do you do

Pretty much nothing honestly. I load and unload freight on a dock. The forklift does 99% of my job. Only problem is, they give full-time less than a nun gives pussy, so they only got me on 4 days and limit me to 30 hours. I'm getting some good people in my corner though, so I should be getting FT soon enough. Until then, I just do my job and make my money.

No college?

Think I'd enjoy the freight life comparably to da cube

So, no college?

LOL. I have a degree in broadcasting/editing. I wanted to be a video editor, I could just never get my foot in the door. I also tried getting into radio production as I worked with that equipment too, but again, foot outside the door. Eventually, I just got too old with no real experience.

Working on unloading crates doesn't sound like someone who went to college. Don't be a dick. I'm just stating. Maybe he's a lot happier than you are in the accountant world.

For 20 more cents sir, you can supersize that

Somewhere around 50% of college graduates do not get a job in that field. In fact, there are many manual laborers that have college degrees that get paid more to do labor.

Wasn't judging, chill.

Just asked. Most people I know who got a degree do not work industrial or blue collAr work.

How you like it? How old are by the way?

I didn't say you were judging, I'm just not sure where the question came from. It's not what I envisioned myself doing, but the few people I knew at ABC and ESPN radio got me nowhere. Not even so much as an interview. My uncle is a low level director, but he does have connections, and I got nothing from him either. So I wallowed around in retail work making less peanuts than Dumbo. After dealing with that bullshit, getting this was a breath a fresh air. It's a fucking cake walk. Less stressful than retail, and I make pretty solid money, even at part time. It'll be even better at full time. So to answer your questions, I love it, and I'm 31.

Going to college isn't some "guarantee" of work, fucknut. I know you didn't go (or haven't finished) at the young age of 26... but don't be a dumbass.

I used to work in a warehouse. Made decent money and always envied the forklifter at my job. He would just get high as a kite and chill in that forklift all day. Cool ass dude tho. Laid back as all hell

If your uncle was an Alderman, you would be a supervisor in the Water Dept by now

It seems like it's funny that people think a specific degree = specific job or career success. I majored in Humanities and Writing, never had a job in related fields, and my team performs better than my peers with degrees in Finance. One guy I work with is going back to school to get his MBA. Have know idea how that's gonna help him but whatevs.
