Tomorrow morning. There is a great soccer match of the highest level, Dortmond vs Bayern Munich. It is huge for the championship standings and features the waning flickers of Lewandoski and Mueller vs the brilliant meteoric rise of Haaland.
Munich does not have the team it had 2 years ago, but neither does Dortmund. German surpemacy seems to have been a tactical advantage the world caught up to. Still, not much seperates these teams, and if you forced me to pick a side I'd take the under 3.5 just because it feels high for two teams respecting each other. Lots of firepower in the match for sure, but these teams are equals and I could see a physical match forming where little is given.
I am more optimistic about the double features second match, with Borussia Mandblach taking on a team fighting to avoid relegation. At near even odds, you are getting a frustrated Mandblach in the thick of champions league qualification standings, as the top 5 teams have clearly seperatated themselves in points and goal differential and only 4 spots are given.
So you get the better team on the road, without fans to charge an opponent who has been horrendous at home this year.
