I like cherries when they are raw. But bake them in a pie and I don’t like them.

I like blueberries but only when mixed with bananas in a smoothie. Raw by themself they taste nasty.

Ha. I am on the opposite side.
I don't like cucumbers, but love pickles.

I make my own garlic dill with a pepper that has a slight kick.
But I certainly know a lot of people who love cucumbers.

I love Tzatsiki cucumber flavored sauce for gyros, but not the raw cucumber itself.
I agree that plain ol' cucumbers are pretty boring with little taste. I don't seek em out, but can roll with them on a salad or better yet on marinaded kabobs.

Another hate - although probably common: asparagus! Freak-nasty stench with flavor to match. Speaking of...

Guys & gals, I've read and tested this...if you enjoy the carnal pleasures of "going down" on your sig other, have your partner do you the favor of eating sweet citrus fruits earlier in the day and AVOID nasty ass asparagus, brussel sprouts, pickled/vinegar, and other stinky foods with strong odors/flavors. Believe it or not, the taste & smell travels south (for better or for worse)!! ?‍♂️

You've been warned.

Not thread worthy but I’m excited as all hell we’re officially getting a Portillos in DFW now. There’s nothing remotely close to it down here.
Hey I know it's 4 hours away but are you familiar with any great BBQ spots in San Antonio? Headed there for a conference next week and they've promised nothing but tex mex. We eat Mexican twice a week up here in Colorado so blah. Need some good Texas BBQ.

I don't eat junk food anymore (though I do miss a lot of it)... but I never liked corndogs. Made me nauseous.

No cap, I don't like sweets of any kind. At most I'll have a couple Snickers bars a year.

Cake - nope
Ice cream - nope
Candy - nope
Cookies - nope
Brownies - nope
Pie - nope

I know I'm late on this, but doesn't it feel like sugary foods got too extreme, so even if you had a taste for some stuff it was ruined?

Cupcakes used to just be cupcakes, cakes in a baking cup with a bit of homemade frosting on top, maybe some sprinkles if the Mom was feeling ambitious.

Good lord, you go to a birthday party now and its like "Do you want cake with that 8oz portion of mass-produced HFCS paste?"

People around me simultaneously tell me to eat better and then try shove sugar-paste down my type-1 diabetic gullet.

While I do not hate either of these, I find that the work to reward ratio is rather bullshit regarding snow crab and crawdads.

I really don’t off the top of my head. I don’t get down there very often. And when we do we usually just eat on the river walk someplace.

skip tex mex and just go for the mex... carnitas and barbacoa will set you straight.. real mole sauce in town too. austin/dripping springs/lockhart are 1-1:20 hr drive away if you want some good bbq....a lil less than an hour if you have a lead foot..... take a group trip. its worth it..

I’m sure there’s plenty of good stuff without driving that far.

And that creek with a sidewalk is a great place to have a good evening. Don’t disrespect.

the river walk disrespected me with its lack of a river. that creek was dirty, trash was floating in it, i think i saw a shopping cart in it... i did get some fine dining at hooters before wandering around the mall the last time i was there though...

what about the women chuck?

LOL. If you were walking around the mall you didn’t do it right.

whats lol, is that creek being called a river

whats doing the riverwalk right? Ive only been there like 50 times..

Did various things on the riverwalk but as an underage soldier living in san antonio, drank and pussy was the goal. Other bars would serve you from time to time, but hooters was always guaranteed to serve you. also dated a waitress from there. If you werent lucky with a thick hooters waitress, right next to hooters was the mall entrance.. the mall was littered with desperate fat chicks window shopping or eating their sorrows away in the food court... i think we did it right...

Legit, I don't really like cake, unless it's red velvet. Then I'll have a slice. Not huge on pie either. I can't eat strawberries or bananas unless they're in a smoothie.
