It all depends on how Justin Fields develops. The price paid to move up is above the point value of the picks, but understandable for a top prospect. If he is average or busts, we'll be regretting giving up that first rounder. However, if he plays lights out, the price paid would be a bargain. Most franchise QBs require at least 2 first rounders and then some.

As @PrideisBears has stated for quite a while now, you were so much better when you were @bearmick's hype man.
As I have stated many times. That's just a soppy pussy made up narrative. Soppy pussies must always make things up because they have no sense of reality and thus simply do not deal with reality. bearmick is also a soppy pussy now so, in reality, it is only you fellow soppy pussies who hype him.

If Fields works out we win. If he fails we lose but I'll be glad we are trying.

All the media saying Bears gave up "a king's ransom", "paid heavily", etc. to move up are simply pumping their narrative and making the story bigger.

The TRUE story is how many teams out-thought themselves from what is the most stable prospect aside from Lawrence, some say more than him even. Bears finally hit jackpot and paid reasonably to play.

Why is it the always the guys that have an imagined unique reality pointing at others as delusional?

Self-awareness is not a strong suite in WWE personas.

True. I remember last year during that long losing streak when it looked the Bears were going to be missing the playoffs and picking maybe between 10-12 that there was no way that the Bears were going to be in a position to get Fields. At the time it was 1a Lawrence and 1b Fields. The discussions were would the Bears even be able to be in a position to draft Wilson or Lance. Fields was just completely off the table as an option because no one thought he would drop past #2 overall. Hell, while short, there had even been suggestions that Fields was pushing Lawrence to be #1 overall.

Fast forward 6 months and I still shocked that the Bears were able to get Fields. And that so many people talked themselves out of the guy that while the games were actually being played was the consensus #2 overall pick.

If Trubisky had turned out to be similar to Mahommes or Watson....no one would've given it a second thought on what the Bears paid to move up to get him. Same thing goes for Fields....only way people will only care about the price, is if he is a bust.

If that happens, let the whining begin.....

I disagree. Mitch was going to be there regardless. Whether he panned out or not, Pace threw away picks.
