Yup, good. Cooper is the man and I don't think Duncan/LaRussa would be any better.

I'd take Don Cooper managing 25 of the 30 MLB teams right now.

I think Coop would be the right choice for the next year or 2 for the White Sox bad money to go away.

what does cooper have to do with bad contracts? cooper isnt a stop gap filler coach like quade is for the cubs.

I don't see the Sox going anywhere at least until they free up Peavy's money.

I don't see Cooper managing any more than 3 years. I think he's the best hire for the Sox, but I don't see him getting anymore good players to work with, I don't see Rios ever coming to what he was. I don't see Peavy pitching at the level he once was.

I'm not shaking in my boots if I'm Detroit looking at the Sox offense, and the sudden depth problem in the rotation.

It looks very similar to the Cubs rotation this past season. I hate to see the Sox go to the depths of baseball purgatory for a year or 2, but at least their not as bad as the Cubs.
