My favorite teams
I agree that it's early to hail Dr. Craw as a vezina candidate, but I like what I've seen in the progression of his game. Wandering was weak for one, next game he's better at it. 5-hole was weak for one, next game he's better at it.
There's nothing wrong with that.
The fact that there are defenseman in position to bail out Crawfrod when he can't make the save, and Crawford has on more than onne occasion than not bailed out the team D when they've coughed up the puck speaks volumes.
Plus, he's been good on "bounce-back" saves afer he lets one in.
The real tests will come after a loss and playing a team like SJ who is completely on fire, but so far I don't think anyone can complain about Crawford this year. He keeps this level of play up and the team will be just fine.
