I agree, too, look at it this way, Blair is a specialist just like Ben Gordon and them guys only can get you so far. In Blair case, the dude is a rebounding force like Reggie Evans, but with more muscle. Seriously, I don't want my Power Forward playing dirty like Rodman or Evans. I don't want to see Blair grabbing Chris Kaman balls. These are the tactics these dudes use, it's shrewd, but it's also lent at the bottom of the pocket. If you look at our roster, the only Superstar in the making is Derrick Rose. You see how he controlled the games last year. I never saw a guy in the Bulls uniform takeover the game like Rose did last year since Jordan or Pippen. Before Rose, Ben Gordon was the closest. Where I'm getting at is simple, if you look at all the teams that has won Championship games, they all had post presence. We do you think Shaq offers his services every year, because the dude presents mismatches. This is where BJ Mullens come in, true enough he's 2 years away from contributing maybe 14 points and 7 rebounds but when you have Rose, they make each other better. At best, I can see Mullens turning out to be somewhat of the talented version of Pau Gasol. Both guys love the flash contact but don't like banging that much. They both are homogeneous. I just hope GM's don't do their homework on his pro's. This guy will be a impact player with Rose in the future. Noah will rub of on Mullens and get him to utilize his talent. I also think drafting a SG is stupid. Gordon will be back. I also dissected Wade comments today on the radio. The guy will be in a Bulls uniform in 2010. He wants to come back home and do it big - as we say in Englewood. Back to the topic, it will be a sad day if Bulls pass on Mullens or at least don't make a effort to grab him before other teams do. When we got Rose, Calapari said this, "A Big Body, inside presence that can play off the pick and roll with Derrick." My point is, BJ Mullens is that guy we can tweak and build around Rose. We don't need to change the whole team, but add a spice here and there. Paxson and Gar don't seem like fools and I trust they'll drive the hammer home with one strike. You can't miss with Mullens. You can't teach 7 feet newskoolbulls. You can't teach that agility with his present frame. I'm going to go nuts if he falls to us. When I was scouted him, the only red flags I saw was at the Butler game. It was visible that he didn't respect the guys on the team. It was plays where he wanted to score and forced a shot and Evan Turner called him out his name. It was a play where Jon Diebler drove and drew contact. He failed and the whole team assisted to him but Mullens didn't and visibly walked away and all the guys signaled him out the game to Matta. So, I don't know what that relationship atmosphere was like but it can be fixed if he comes here. The dude does have issues but I still want him here. It's a great test to challenge Vinny Del Negro coaching skills lol.
