My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  2. Golden State Warriors
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
yeah, I never finished my first sentence.. I was gonna say "even though regular season games don't mean much"

my bad hahaha.

I agree with you though. Regular season games don't mean much... but that's really all we can go off of now since we have no idea who really would have won between the 2

Well we do have this: we swept the Heat and lost to them in 5 games. Dallas beat them in 6. Therefore it probably makes sense that we would've lost. xD

I understand. I know what you're saying. Unfortunately we don't know and won't know unless there's a season next year and these two meet. :)

Not sure they would knock out the Mavs this post season. If you would've asked me before the second round this year I would have told you we'd put them away in 5. Lol

After they sent the Lakers home with a headache I changed my mind. I would hope it would go 6, but I know in my mind prolly 5 in their favor.

The only team that could've beaten them this year were the Celtics with Kendrick Perkins. Simply to good defensively, and automatic offensively.
But that's pretty much that; no other team could've beaten them.

With the way Dallas has shot in the post-season, no.

I think they said they were shooting 46% from 3... Are you kidding me?

The way those guys were shooting, it would have been hard for anyone to beat them. It seemed like during the playoffs they came back from any deficit no matter the in the game. Then they had at least 2-3 games each series where they hit shots from anywhere and won those games by double digits. I would think the Bulls could pull maybe one game against them.

We could have, but I think Dallas was destined to win.

I don't think we had enough scoring but I think we probably could have matched up much better against them DEFENSIVELY! But with a good SG...YES I do think we can beat them

ya..but you'd have to also hope that noah and boozer contribute in the frontcourt and can stop chandler from owning the boards.... and defend marion in the paint

bulls would do a little better defensively...however miami does have a very good defense as well...

dallas runs a very well organized half court offense and they are deadly from outside...i have a hard time seeing anyone really giving nowitzki trouble...

fact is, unless deng or frontcourt steps up offensively, or your proposed SG is a monta ellis/nick young type scorer...the bulls would not have been able to keep up with the mavericks firepower...especially in the fact that chicago does not have the type of 3 point shooting miami has, much less dallas imo

LIKE I SAID....IF WE HAD A BETTER SG!

Miami is a good defensive team but Miami don't have our depth, we wouldn't need one of our best players to chase around Jason Terry...Bogans, CJ Watson, those guys could have done that, as for Dirk, nobody can stop Dirk one on one but I think we could have thrown Taj as well as Noah on him, both guys can move their feet very well, also could have used Asik more to help battle Tyson for those Rebounds

as far as depth goes...I think we much up much better then Miami does...but of course without a better SG I don't think we had enough fire power offensively to beat them

jason terry would probably have lit y'all up like he did miami imo....and i still think dallas would have gotten too many offensive rebounds and would have knocked down the 3 ball at a high rate....

you still didnt address the fact that the bulls are not a very good 3 point shooting team...which will hurt them against dallas and force more pressure on the big to produce(and tyson, marion, and haywood are not slouches in the interior defensively) and rose to score at a high rate...y'all do have more scoring options but not players that can consistently score at a high rate...

i understand what you are saying about the SG...but who do you have in mind? ellis, young, mayo?
