I tried dating a White Sox fan, and I just couldn't do it. Her friends talked so much shit it drove me crazy. I now have a list of qualities a girl must have before I'll date her, and number 4 on the list is be a Cubs fan. Other sports, I don't care about as much because I'll cheer for the Bears and I've never met a girl that knows anything about hockey other than icing isn't what goes on a cake.

Cubs, any AL Central team, Vikings: not a deal breaker

Red Wings, Knicks, Pistons, Lakers, fans of Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson or Dale Earnhardt Jr.: Could be a deal breaker

Packers: Sorry, I'm not into beastiality

It shouldnt matter one way or another. Just another way of playfully teasing eachother. On the other hand, was friends to one chick that was a Packer, homegrown, as Im homegrown Bears. Needless to say, she was a *****. :) Tho that was Farves last year in GB. So as she'd rant how Da Bears suck, I'd kindly remind the ***** GBs 2 loses were to Da Bears :D

If the person is awesome does it really even matter? You meet the girl of your dreams and break it off for that? I don't think so. Do you really want the person you're with to be a clone of yourself? Personally I'm glad my GF doesn't care much for sports. It gives me plenty of time to myself.
Then she wouldnt be the woman of our dreams now would she? lol

Womens are a dime a dozen. Unless she makes up in every other department, and she's total wife material, then hells no. I can't do it.

Meh, I suppose thats a fair point but Ive never really cared about a woman's interest in sports. When you've been in a relationship as long as I have you appreciate having sports as your thing. If my girl got stoked to watch the cubs with me everyday I may lose it.

"Do you want to watch the Cubs together" sounds awful to me.

Nah. The whole 'dream girl' concept is just that, a dream. If it becomes reality, it'd lose the appeal. I really cant say her liking a rival team would turn me away. I actually always thought how fun that would be.

Honestly, I think it'd be more fun that way too.

Reminds me of even last year with Football. Whether at GB or Chicago, you always see at least one couple that supports the opposite teams, and theyre loving it lol. Guess what it boils down to is both must have a sense of humor. I'd have to make a poster saying 'I married or with a Packer Fan. Im sorry.' lol

Idk.. as long as they don't act like a fool.. its fine..

My gf is probably a bigger hockey fan than I am... which is pretty sweet.
