Think this is a real key moment for the Hawks this season. They'd been on a bit of a slide that saw them drop well into 3rd place in the Central Division standings. But in their last two outings, they've beat the second-place Blues and fourth-place Jets to pull within four points of the Blues. Now, with an eight-game homestand upcoming without any big opponents in the way. Now is the time to shoot up at the standings, and it starts tonight with a shitty, awful, terrible Arizona team coming to 1901 W. Madison.

Agree that TT needs to rebound, but I'm starting to believe that Q is coming around on TT and won't be as quick to bench him as he was with other young players (Morin, Pirri) in the past. Picked that up from some of the beat writers on Twitter.

Only if the Blackhawks are willing to put Shaw/Bickell on the fourth line and carry more cap weight leading up to the trade deadline. There are a couple of options - but TT needs to force the hand here because he is certainly one of the guys who could get bumped down (in one way or another).

The flashes are certainly there. The high end skill is certainly there. TT just needs to put it together and be consistent. He is still young, he is still small and weak (in NHL terms), needs to get his confidence going again (passing up way to many shots) but he can certainly play at a high level. I'm happy that he has been up here this long and it could go a long way in developing him over time.
