Umm.....yeah I'm willing to bet the throttle stuck. A cop on a 4 wheeler isn't going to purposely run over people and another cop.

It seriously looks like he panicked and hit the gas.

I don't know how many times i've seen people do that on a motorcycle. Not sure why it happens, but it does. Definitely didn't look intentional.

Just my opinion. Don't know what really happened.

My dad told me about this. It really did look like the cop lost control. Lucky more stuff like that didn't happen with those crazy crowds.

This was when the crowd broke through the barriers, and trapped the cops on atvs inside the barriers there was no place to go. No one was trying to intentionally hit someone.

I was watching this live when it happened and to me it looked like the copper was getting pissed off at the crowds and punched it. But perhaps he/she did panic, tt's understandable to an extent however I have to wonder why they'd put someone on this deatil if they'd panic? Expert ATV riders can throttle to a crawl. Look I believe 98.9% of coppers are good folks but we all know some of them ride around on those things like they own the world.



In any case Stu you should YouTube the 1968 Democratic Convention to see Daley's Army really at work.
