Honestly I don't read much into it. He's won some games for them against us as well. The core just knows how to destroy their former teammate is how I read it, they know his weaknesses and such.

As you noted, Niemi was in net for the sharks 5-2, 5-3 and 2-1 wins earlier this season, though hopefully his confidence, after last night, will be shaken a bit if we meet them in the playoffs.

Turco was in net for those games, although I might be mistaken.



Edit: Crawford was in net for the 2-1 overtime loss. So in the 2 games he has faced Niemi he's grabbbed 3 points and Niemi got chased in 1 game.
