it is if you dont play enough to get you moneys worth

$.10 x 365 = 36.50 seems ok but

182.5(exactly 1/2 the yr. & i dont even play that much) / 36.50 = $.20 per use

doing math @ wk & taking call didnt wk :lol

but my point is its not worth it IMO<

ummmmmm thats 20 cents per use. If it were 5 bucks per use you would only play it 5 times a year. In that case I agree its not worth it.

I would bet though most gamers or people that have gold subscriptions play it enough to make it worth their while or at worst 25 cents a use.

Free online, great exclusives, familiarity with the brand and friends who also use it. I've never understood why people care what gaming system others have.

Early on 360 dominated in exclusives.

In the past few years ps3 has surpassed xbox with exclusive titles.

I've posted in the Xbox/PS3 debate and was labeled a Xbox fanboi for pointing out the strengths/weaknesses of both.

Nonetheless, this makes Sony look bad. I've never gotten an email from Microsoft saying my credit card info might be in trouble. I've never had to check my bank account in fear of having money stolen from it because of Xbox Live. I've had to do both, thanks to Sony.

Obviously, I will still buy PS3 games, but this is not a good thing for Sony. I hope it doesn't have any MAJOR negative effects on their financials, which would in turn effect their future gaming.

I still don't understand why people want to buy a system that WILL turn into a paper weight after a couple years... If you're lucky.....

Yawn, of course the ps3 vs xbox stuff comes up. I have a good reason for wanting a ps3, it has better games. Period. When I first got it I wanted the Blu Ray ability, which made it well worth the money. If I had tons of money, I'd have both systems. But I bet I'd play my ps3 more.

Anyway, Sony has released something that said credit card info was encrypted and they don't think it was compromised. All other info wasn't, though.

That's what I meant. Dude said why would anyone want a ps3? I said, I know why I do, because it has better games. I meant it as an subjective statement. I agree everyone should just enjoy what they have.

I'll be honest, though. Sony really dropped the ball here and I'm not happy about it. I'm not going to get rid of my ps3, boycott Sony or join some class-action lawsuit against them, though. Sony screwed up, but it's the hackers who are the real assholes, here. I can't believe how many people I've seen defending hackers in situations like this. These people weren't just proving a point to Sony. They irresponsibly opened the door that led to others going in and stealing all of your personal information for their own monetary gain. It's like defending someone who posts information about how to break into your house on the internet and some people read about it and do it.

For all the times my 360 has been in to fix the RROD it basically has turned into a paper weight.

Only gets used when I have people over.

I've got friends who've hacked and modded their Wiis, yet are really pissed about the PSN being hacked. Then they try to justify themselves by explaining how different the two are. BS. You're a cheater just like the assholes that took down the PSN.

Still down. Hope they get it done fast. I miss playing NHL 11 online lol.. Honestly why i have PS3 is cause of MLB THE SHOW. Best baseball game EVER

It's definitely the best out now. I like MVP 05 by EA slightly more all-time. It'll be a good showdown if EA makes another baseball game in 2012.
