I wouldn't exactly call Harp a beast with the Bulls. He was a role player during the Bulls' three titles. He played the role well, don't get me wrong. He was a solid defender.
But when the Bulls brought him in, they brought him in to be the 2nd scorer behind Scottie Pippen in 94-95, and he was terrible. Jordan coming back made everyone forget how bad of a signing Harper was. But next to MJ, Harper was solid.
I love Harper though. Ask Doug and Fred. We played basketball about 2 weeks ago and I broke out my Ron Harper Bulls jersey. I think I'm one of the 4 people in the world that actually owns a Ron Harper Bulls jersey. I never saw another person with one
