The G8 thing is probably keeping people at home a bit. Not to mention the part where the Cubs suck.

its more the nato thing and not the cubs. its a potential hazard going downtown

I actually gotta commend Cub Fans for staying away. Finally not supporting a sub par product. With that said, they have been playing of late much better than a 65 win team which really should have been the high point for the team

He's an old guy so I figure Sveum is just going to ride him until his arm falls off.

If you see the rest of the Cubs' bullpen, very few guys are actually reliable. Camp has been solid if unspectacular.

He is getting used more and more. I think he has pitched in less than half the games, but he wasn't used very often early on. As has been talked about though he has a bit of a rubber arm, and he himself claims that he is better with more work since he is a sinkerballer. Since he is in his late 30s I don't really care if the Cubs pitch him everyday. The only interest I have in him is building his trade value which honestly should be pretty appealing to clubs.

Cub Fans, does Castro hit into many DPs

The Cubs as a whole hit into a ton of double plays this year. It is really killing the offense considering how bad they are at getting on base in the first place. I would have to look it up but I would have to figure that since Castro makes so much contact, often hard, that he hits into his fair share of double plays.

Heading into tonight the Cubs had grounded into the third most double plays in baseball behind only Baltimore and Minnesota. If you take it as a percentage of the opportunties for the DP the Cubs are tied with Minnesota for the second highest percentage.

There is the old Soriano defense.
