ROFL. Terrible baserunning. Nice play by Peavy.

Oh I know there are plenty of Sox fans that agree with that assessment, but I have yet to find anyone who seriously thinks the Cubs are any good.

well they arent st louis cardinals good but there is promise with your cubs. LaHair is still not the future imo. but the pitching is there with a few tweaks, emergence of jackson and rizzo with hope it translates and som FAs things will be ok

Nice play by Peavy and Lillibridge. The poor baserunning for the Cubs continues.

Wow you are going soft. That was a genuine compliment towards the franchise on the northside.

LaHair isn't the future if the plan is to be competitive in 4-5 years. If they think they can pull it off sooner he could be a part of the team. I just doubt you can get value back in a trade for him yet due to people not knowing who the real LaHair is yet.

They're not good this year, but they're headed in the right direction. Having Theo Epstein helps a lot too. I'm a big fan of him and his ideas.

I wish the Sox would just give up and go through an overhaul like that. I'd rather be bad for years and then good for a long time than be average and not in the playoffs every year.

Rick Hahn is the future on the South side. It's just a matter of when he will take the reins. Hopefully it's sooner rather than later. Hahn is the real deal IMO.

Ah, a shining example of why pitchers shouldn't hit.

Don't know much about Hahn so I wouldn't be able to say. I know about Theo because of what he did for the Red Sox and some of his ideas.

Not sure what I hate more today, this weather or this awful lineup.

He was ranked as the #1 GM Prospect in 2010 by Baseball America and again in 2011 by SportsIllustrated.com. I'm really surprised he's stuck with the Sox so long with all the GM positions that have opened up recently. I hope his loyalty to the Sox pays off.

And nothing could be worse than Kenny. He's done some good stuff, but what has he done recently?

He got Dunn. That's basically it. Everything else has fallen through.
