i mean how many games did the sox blow this year? we would be over .500 but we cant think that way. those are excuses.

RIght both teams are under .500 for a reason.

but we cant look and say oh its the BP and whatnot that blew a few games. how many games did the cubs comeback where the oppositions bp imploded. it happened to the sox with valverde for example.

Even with a good bullpen you can't assume that they'll always be lights out. Even good relievers will blow holds and saves.

Even with a good bullpen you can't assume that they'll always be lights out. Even good relievers will blow holds and saves.

I know though Milwaukee has held the lead heading into the eighth something like 54 straight games. We have that kind of streak and this team's record is much better than it is. I know it is a pointless game to play, but you can't help but wonder what might have been if the bullpen hadn't been so shaky.
