its called trying to score runs. Cubs sure cant hit so taking every base needed is smart. I love how Cubs blast the 1 guy who hustles everyday. He been the 1 player this year thats been actually fun to watch on this godawfull team.

Oh, it was a fun play and I enjoyed it. I would've been annoyed as **** if he had been out though. It's kind of like how in basketball, a guy takes a 40-point three attempt with 20 seconds on the shot clock and you say "WHAT THE ****" and if it goes in, you're like "Oh, okay."

even Sveum said he wouldnt been upset if he thrown out. Its to the point where Cubs have to try stupid things to score runs. His number assest is speed so he went for it.

sorry i just dont think its stupid move when team cant score more then 1 run per game. Have to try and get around the bases somehow.
