WGN, to the best of my knowledge, has a national channel and a local channel. I live in KY, and there's a lot of WGN games that I don't get.

You are correct. WGN America is a nationally syndicated station that has no broadcast restrictions regarding Cubs and Sox games. As for the Bulls and Blackhawks, only certain Bulls games are broadcast on WGN America nationally and no Blackhawks games are aired nationally due to NHL TV policies restricting national broadcasts to NBC and the NBC Sports Network.
