Matt Garza makes his start tonight and this thing drags out closer to the deadline like I said it would.
It will be interesting to see what happens to Junior Lake after DeJesus comes back. I wonder if they would be willing to bench one of their infielders or if he is just going to rove around the diamond giving days off to people.

Lake is making a case to play every day. Watching him run the bases in his first game reminded me of a young pre-roid Sammy. In his pure athletic ability. Honestly this kid has some serious intangibles to concider. If he can put it together kid could be electric

Good Lord, how far was that home run? 430 plus feet? How long has it been since we had a player who can drop a bunt and show off the wheels then hit a monster home run? Lake is playing like he doesn't want to leave.
