For sure. No way he'd take a one year deal since he'd get that through arbitration anyway.

I bet they agree to something like 4-years $18 mil or 3-years $13. I dunno I could be way off.

The one thing that is hurting the Cubs is the most recent RP contract, i.e. Soriano Jenks etc .

Well i don't really think those are bargaining chips for Carlos because he's only in his second arb year...he doesnt have that much leverage.
