This team isn't going to be here for much longer. That doesn't mean that it will be better, but the roster by April 1st next year is going to be drastically different from the one today.

It might be. It might not be. Anyone who tells you for certain that it will or won't be either is ing or doesn't understand the situation the Cubs are in at this point. I would lay the odds pretty heavily on slighly better, but that is just a guess with so many variables (Rizzo/Jackson/et al that is within a year of potentially contributing, tons of cash off the books, etc.).
