Yeah, that's true about stirrups. But what's even worse are the super baggy pants with the cuff pulled over the heel.
I've heard Selig is the one who did away with the non-gray road uniforms. If true, so stupid. Uniforms should be garish. Teams shouldn't all look the same or almost the same. It's bad enough every other teams colors are some form of blue and red.

You must be a little slow, I'm sorry, but what don't you understand about being in year 3 of a 4 year rebuild. I would expect that the Cubs would field a competitive team after that. What I won't do, is whine until that time!
However, even with all the obstacles the Cubs have had, they appear that they will start fielding some of their prospects next season. I think after this next draft, which I'm hoping for a #1 pick, the Cubs will become much less of a seller.
So, since you're slow, that means that I expect the Cubs to compete after next year, but I expect them to be much better next year.

Man, compete means just that. Make the playoffs and have a shot at making some noise in the playoffs. Are you one of those idiots that's not happy if your team doesn't win the WS every year? You sound like a fuckin idiot to me. The 1st fuckin goal should be a winning team.
For you sloooow people, that means over a 500 record. I believe they can be that next year with 2 or 3 of their prospects coming up. And yes, the following year the Cubs will be a playoff contender, and will be for some time.
