What is there to think besides that guy is one of the retards I told you about waldo.
I know, did you see the post on the message board? If you haven't yet, you should go check. It's funny.

Well, Dempster is no better than an overrated .500 pitcher. Starlin Castro isn't even ready for the major leagues yet. I also feel that Luis Castillo would be an upgrade over Blake DeWitt and feel that he's still capable of hitting .300 and swiping at least 30 more bags.
Oliver Perez, when he's right, is like having another Randy Johnson out there (the one in his prime). So, I think this would really be an excellent deal, while giving the Cubs a bit more payroll flexibility. I know a similar deal like this was discussed last year with Carlos Zambrano so...
I respect your opinion and am sorry that you don't like my trade proposal. That's OK. What I meant to say about Oliver Perez being like Randy Johnson was that his stuff (when he is on) is comparable to that of Randy Johnson. Ryan Dempster is overrated.
Starlin Castro made what? Like 30 errors last year? He has no power and doesn't have the maturity yet to compete at the major league level. Luis Castillo has speed, can still bunt, is adequate defensively and can do all the little things to help a team win.
I feel that if the Cubs get a quality pitching coach to work on Oliver Perez's mechanics, the man has the kind of stuff to be unstoppable.
I'm sorry; however, I find no "ridiculousness" in my posts. I am pretty confident that the Cubs are going to sign Derek Jeter and bring a winner to Chicago.
Jeter can hit for average. He can still run. He still has some pop in his bat. He's still very solid defensively, not to mention his leadership abilities, coupled with all the other intangibles that he brings.
Why wouldn't you want a guy like that to be your shortstop instead of Castro who is at least 2 years away from being a factor at the major league level?
Wasn't Castro already a factor on the Cubs roster? Sorry but I'm confuse.
waldo, the idiot is still going!
It's hard to talk to idiots.
