9/14 Cubs lineup
Reed Johnson is starting in right field Wednesday for the Cubs against the Reds and Johnny Cueto. Johnson is 5-for-13 against Cueto. Mike Quade’s other options have not had as many at-bats. Tyler Colvin is 2-for-6 against the Reds right-hander and Bryan LaHair is 1-for-3. Here’s the lineup:

Castro SS

Johnson RF

Ramirez 3B

Pena 1B

Soriano LF

Byrd CF

Barney 2B

Soto C

Coleman P

I dont get Johnson playing against RHP. LaHair or Colvin need to play. Quade your an idiot!!!

He needs wins to save his job if the Cubs decide to contend next year. If they do contend next year, there's no way Quade keeps his job though

Does anyone remember that guy named Colvin that used to be on the Cubs?

You know, our best outfielder and most accurate arm?

The guy that saves runs because teams don't usually test his arm?

Oh yeah, thats right. I forgot, deformed Kojak won't play him.

Your praises for Colvin are commendable but misplaced. However, he did come in to pinch-hit, got a hit, and will probably never be heard from again.

Yes, our best OFer is a guy who has an OPS of .532. That is HoF worthy.

I'd like to think Tyler Colvin can get to the hall of fame someday, but I just hope he's a solid hitter and defender for the Cubs going forward.

You *really* couldn't tell that was sarcasm?
Hence the initial :obama:

It's amazing how you pass your stupidity as sarcasm, and have the nerve to call out great posters like UMan.

In what world is a .532 OPS good? That's absolutely awful. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that I am obviously not serious.

I agree that Colvin has been pretty bad, but I just thought this was funny given your moniker

3 straight outs with bases loaded. Now thats the Cubs I remember.

My reaction to Colvin striking out after I demand for him to play more...
