Don't get me wrong, they will DFA Baker or Tracy but from what I have seen so far, there has been no bites and I think they will opt for free agency and not go to the minors. I will just wait and see what they do. I think it will be a surprising move.

I think someone would take Baker, and maybe Tracy to, as he has recently seemed to be able to hit a ball and play some D. And I doubt Tracy would elect free agency, he apparently had an opt out clause if they sent him down and he decided not to use it then.

Sadly, I think Ted Lilly's days are numbered in Chicago. All his near no-hitter did was raise his trade value. His contract is up after the year and there is very little chance the Cubs are going to turn this around sh he's probably gone if the right deal comes. Even if the Cubs don't find a deal for Lilly I don't see him being resigned. The Cubs are already committed to Zambrano and Dempster for a couple of years as well as Silva for next. If Gorzelanny doesn't get dealt he should be back along with Wells and Samardija. Plus Andrew Cashner has been a starter in the minors and Jay Jackson has been pitching very well at Triple-A Iowa. I think Rickets would rather go with cheaper internal options to start rather than another long-term contract to a mid-30's vet.

They can turn it around, just 6.5 GB and STL and CIN have been crappy for the most part lately.

That's stupid. NL-C is terrible.

which is why they can catch up. There offense has been showing up both games this series, they just have to make it last. Lee hitting the damn ball really helps too.

The Central is actually good, however all the teams are not producing like they should. Which is surprising.

NO. Over 6 ERA, 0-5, BAA over .300. The guy is like Kevin Gregg as a starter
