The Cubs are reportely thinking about putting a claim on Gavin Floyd...if they do, there could be a multi player trade with the White Sox. As both teams have more players that past thru waivers....

I can't see it with no full-time GM in place and who reported it (Phil Rogers).

Floyd would be a solid #3 or #4 guy..i think what i really feel about this trade depends on what we give for it

He is locked up cheap and for a while. the return would have to be descent.

I really, really hope the Cubs don't plan on being a White Sox cash dump.

However, I'd have mild interest in Dunn, depending on bad contracts the Sox took back. I'll make fun of him and his lack of production all day when he's w/ another team...but the second he'd become a Cub...he'd be my guy whom I'd be sure of would turn it around...Doesn't have to make sense to anyone else...just how I operate.

the sox are also running out of SPs. Im not sure I would want to do this unless they look at the FA market to replace him.

Bring Jackson back. But I think Edwin will re-sign with the Cards, along with Albert and that will be their winter.

thats fine and dandy, he is in the NL. He had a bumpy road the last time he was in the NL, but I have faith in him now that he is on the cards. I saw too much of Ejax.

I watch pretty much every Sox game too, and I still think they can catch fire before Labor Day. If they don't cut it down to 2 games before Labor Day, I'd say it's over.

Dude, he has a great power bat, he has 1 homer this year... and he's fast! He is even faster on foot than that one guy who is taboo in the the Blackhawks forum is on skates!
