My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Fire
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Arizona Wildcats
And considering how bare the FA cupboard is looking for next year, now might not be the time to start punching holes in your roster just because.

this is why i will never be a baseball GM. hahahaha

ok, ill go through this in a list form. lol

Byrd over Nady---Ya I'd be cool with that, I was just thinking it would be easy to trade Byrd, and then Nady would be gone after this year (1 year contract right?)

Vitters---If A-ram is gone, I think he is the logical choice to be up...i dont see us platooning Nady/ Tracy like players for 2 years during a rebuild

Sori---correct. lol

Jackson and Zambrano---Totally forgot about Jackson, I agree with that. i still like Zambrano, I think he can still be dominant

Yeah you are right on that Byrd will probably be eaiser to trade but if the Cubs can't trade either I take Byrd.

Yeah if A-Ram is gone and Cubs are out, I am more open to callng up Vitters to play to get major league expiercing.

I just want the Cubs to get younger and lose the vets. That would be nice.

So you'd be willing to take a 20-year old kid who's struggling at the AA level and plop him in the major leagues? Come on, at least be somewhat sensible.

LOL at Vitters coming to the majors this year. He is two years away from being ready..assuming he turns it around. Vitters would come up and be lucky to bat .150 and would most likely be the worst defensive 3B in the NL.

I like Vitters and can't wait to see him in Chicago, but it is going to be a couple of years before that happens, if ever.

He could be another Gary Scott, without the minor league hype.
