Yeah, I can see that with the Cubs getting younger but not numbers like this year. I don't think this much and I don't think close to these numbers.

We keep progessing the younger guys along..

They used all of Triple A this year so ther eout of options, unless they move to Double A which I can see. We could/will see similar numbers when all the big contracts are off the books.

You've gotta figure Ramirez will be traded next year.

Zambrano could be moved before next season.

Theres two at a minimum right there..

We could easily surpass 10.

Also, I expect Kosuke, Baker and Hill gone in the offseason. If the Cubs are not in the playoff hunt, I also see Ramirez traded. Z, I'm neutral because that's up in the air.

i love how you think they can just trade whoever the **** they want whenever they want. you did the same at the trade deadline.

No I don't...everybody that I said would be traded were traded or close. I said Theriot and Lilly would be traded and they were. I also said Fontenot and Nady would be traded and they almost were. Fontenot is gone now. Nady coud still be. I think Hill will be release not traded, Baker will be traded or non-tender. Barney will take his spot as the utility man. I think Kosuke will be traded, from the reports I've read. They are willing to eat half his contract and I think there could be a trade worked out. Then, I don't think Z will be traded but there is always a possibility.

Those are fairly reasonable players to be dealt.

We'd have to eat contracts on Z and Rami..

Otherwise, the lesser players are easy to deal.

Yeah Z has looked great and this has to be an encouraging start. I know it's the Nats but he only walked 1. That is not bad. Just one bad play and that's pretty much it. His night could be done. But, maybe not and I hope not.
