Only thing I can think is you cant challenge fair or foul balls if it is in front of the line umpires. If the ball lands behind them, you can. Its a dumb rule that has had a lot of complaints but nothing happens

Bote is always chasing pitches up out of the zone and never can catch up to it. By the way this team still can’t win a series on the road and shutout looks likely today. I called a 3-6 road trip so looks like I’m on my way to being spot on or within a game of that. Between Russell, Bote and DD we desperately need a 2nd baseman/versatile player that can hit (Merrifield please!!)
