I don't dislike anyone because of CCS, but I suppose I do have a tendency to lean against opinions I view as irrational, whether it be homerism (like saying Trubisky is going to be a top QB based on his performances to date), or premature negativity (that Montgomery is going to suck, before he's played a down for the Bears).

I know where you are coming from. My initial take on David Montgomery was okay, interesting, I can see positives and negatives, lets see how this works out. The absolute love affair, perfect fit, better than proven top NFL RBs is a bit much. I hope they don't drive me to the point of making arguments against him.

He was horrendous early last season. Calling actual horrendous play in a 2nd NFL season horrendous =/= calling a player horrendous before he's had a chance to be non-horrendous.
If DM plays horrendously, I will acknowledge it.

No, most of us called him out for poor play, but we also understood he would hopefully get better.
You said he wasn't an nfl QB and a bust. That's different.

Well you said week 3 which made it seem like @bearmick made his assessment after 3 regular season games....when in truth he made the assessment with the previous season and preseason games taken into account. Maybe you should provide context next time.

I dislike Leonard Floyd because he sucks.
CCS adds to the frustration by continuing to convince themselves that he's been something other than a total disappointment.
He does look bad-ass in his uniform with the sleeves rolled up, showing off his ripped arms. And I can see why people want to believe he's a good football player, but he's not. It was at the point where posters tried to convince themselves that there's such a thing as a "coverage OLB" and if you heard his name being called during the game that would be a bad thing. Now, it sounds like ppl are running with the "he's a great run stopper" line.
