Nah. He sucked then. Couldn't lead a team for big games. Lost more than he won.

Racked up a lot of garbage stats. Threw critical int's. Many in the red zone.

Some things never change. Kinda like the dill holes who still slurp him.

Kinda like the SEC sucking in 2005 despite having the most teams ranked in the polls in college football.

Best team was ranked#6.

2006, they had the #1 team and 6 teams ranked. 2007, they had #1 and #2. In fact, they had #1 or 2 pretty much every years since then till 2014.

Weak year for them.

Fucking learn football.

And to be clear, Cutler still licked the balls of all the better teams that year and racked up stats against the cellar dwellers.

Stick to the point. SEC had an off year that year, and Cutler sucked.

Way to avoid my question. All you do is criticize players without offering insight on ideas that would make the team better.

He doesn't even critique correctly. The SEC sucked that year which is why Cutler won, then follow that statement with Cutler isn't a winner

You're a fucking loser.

That is all, you don't deserve anymore words than that.

I most likely think Cutler has been better during his pro career than you do but I like your opinion. He has most definitely had ups and downs since becoming a pro but the lengths some of the haters go to shit on the guy boggles the mind. It's why I now believe most of them are just trolling for a reaction. Why? Because I refuse to believe that so many, could be that slow in the head on the subject.

It would be like someone trying to tear apart Tebow college career because his pro career was less than desirable.

I think the "haters" take it too far and the opposite is true of the "fanboys"

The truth is in the middle somewhere. I think he played playoff caliber football this year and in 2011. 2 out of 9 isn't good enough. Hopefully the system is truly in place and Logains doesn't change it up. He still has a problem with what I call "Jay throws" where I'm left scratching my head on what he was looking at when he let the ball go.

This year was encouraging for Jay though considering he is NOT an elite QB and played with a bunch of scrubs. We will see next year (I know every year same thing) with Jeffery, White, Mariani who earned the slot role IMO,hopefully Forte and an upgraded OL.

Cool. Will do.

LSU was the best team in the SEC that year and they were only AP ranked #6. Cuntler racked up a lot of his over-inflated yardage playing against cellar dwellers like Kentucky, Miss, Tennessee, and Richmond.

when he did face a decent team, like LSU or Georgia, Jay shit the bed. His inability to step up against good teams was evident even back then... And against the only other ranked team he faced, (Florida), while he put up a lot of yards, he still hurt his team with his costly int's.

Jay has never been a winner.

So you are not in favor of drafting Goff correct? Best defense he faced this year (Utah) he threw 5 ints.

Are you a closet Packer fan?

His point about Illinois is ridiculous anyway. That's like me saying that it is Rodgers fault that he wasn't recruited by Illinois and he must be a bad QB because of it.

Um... No.

You clearly don't know the whole story.

Cutler was actually given a scholarship to U of I. And because of that, turned down scholarships from Purdue, and a few others.

Then when Turner actually met with Cutler, he realized what a dick he was and pulled the scholarship

Sounds like BS considering that Vandy is a better school than Illinois and Purdue.

Again like Illinois and Turner make sound choices lol. Turner is failing in FIU as we speak. Your examples suck

The OP
I had heard that they instead offered Jay to play safety but not QB?

And wasn't it also Turner at Illinois that offered Rodgers a walk on spot but no scholarship? Oh so close
