My hope is that a desperate OL team who misses on the waiver wire tosses us a pick.

Cannot see any other reason in keeping him.

Don't you think that just maybe the guy has more talent then anyone on here thinks if he keeps staying on the team and i'm pretty sure our coaches and GM and scouts know what they're doing? I mean we do have one of the best o-line coaches in the country in Heistand and he kept him to. I'm going with fans just don't know as much as we think we do and trusting the professionals that have been doing this all their lives. If you think not only we've kept him this long but that another team would trade a pick for him then you gotta think he has some talent unless you think there's more teams GM's that we're also smarter than?

Or they were both complete shit but Cooper is 6'2 and runs 4.4 when he isn't stopping short of the endzone.

Pace=dim bulb.

I don'rt really care much about Nall, run of the mill player. I like him, but there are plenty of guys who can provide what he can.

If that's true then no one will pick him up and he can go on the practice squad.

No. Grasu sucks. Next question.

Well that says a lot about your football IQ. No other questions.

What exactly have you seen from him that makes you think he's got a great future in the NFL? Do you really believe the OL whisperer is going to make him golden? If you have watched the Bears and Grasu, you will have seen what the rest of us have seen. He can only play 1 position on the OL too and he's not good at playing that position. Keeping a backup OL who is a one trick pony just does not happen. Would you rather see Daniels or Grasu at center? Kush or Grasu? I believe Pace is holding him because he doesn't want to cut his 1st ever 3rd rounder or because he needs a cut to sign Mack and maybe another DL.

dabears70 - what have you seen from Grasu in NFL games that leads you to believe he can be an NFL starter?

Oh boy is this how everyone that can't just admit they just might be wrong about a player has to do it by saying i said something i never said? Where did i ever say Grasu was great or gonna be great? I didn't. I guess your reading comprehension is as bad as remy's cause i said WE when talking about the fans being wrong cause i haven't seen much from him either but i also take the whole picture into account cause he hasn't played enough to be able to predict what he would be and you can't just take a guy that hasn't played in a year and throw him into one or two games and think he's gonna show what he can be right away. That just isn't gonna happen unless that player is one of the best players out there and i don't think he's that but again couldn't tell you since again i haven't seen enough of him and neither has anyone else. So that leaves me with having to trust the people that do this for a living and is around this kid in the locker room and in practice and in the scrimmages and in the games and not the people that are sitting behind a tv or computer.

Do you believe it is smart to keep a backup on the OL who can only play center and is no better than the 4th option at that position?

My guess is Grasu and possibly Cooper won't survive the day tomorrow. We will surely claim a player or two that was cut and we still need to make a move corresponding with Mack.

people seem butt hurt over waiving nall......When you cut seemingly good players it is because you have really good players on your team in front of them........this is a good thing.

Not butthurt. Disappointed. Forgive me for rooting for a guy

Maybe they want to keep Daniels at one position all season (guard) and they simply do not like Kush at center. In that case, once Daniels takes Kush’s starting LG job, there would be no viable back up center.

The Bears could possibly go with 9 offensive lineman, and the only way i think Grasu makes the team. There are 7 locks:

Leno - LT
Massie - RT
Long - RG
Kush - Swing guard
Daniels - LG
Whitehair - C
Coward - Swing Tackle

And then you choose 2 out of the remaining 3:

Sowell - Swing Tackle
Morgan - Swing Guard
Grasu - back up C

I could see Grasu potentially beat out one of those two.

Kush has played some center as well so he'd be our #1 backup at guard and center.

Like I said, they probably don’t like Kush at center, and they want to keep Daniels and Whitehair in 1 spot all season.

The guy who I was responding to said that anyone who thought Nall would be cut is a dim bulb, or something like it.

Afraid not pal. I said they limited him to 4 carries hoping to hide him.

Fun and horrid fact all in one.

Bears starting WRs in week 17 of the 2017 season

Wright - out of the league
Inman - out of the league
Bellemy - 5/6th Wr - on the team thanks to his ST responsibility’s.

How does this team not automatically gain several more wins after this complete overhaul at WR?!?
