He doesn't need to kiss his ass. He could have put in a real effort. He didn't. He needs to realize that it's not a 1 star league.

But I will give you that he is a little too old school/loyal to survive in todays league

Rose doesn´t have to do anything, that´s the task of the FO.

He played his ass of and won ROY and MVP. He already is a 2x Allstar.

He lets his game speak. If that´s not enough to get free agents, I don´t know. A single "Please join us" from Derrick wouldnt change a thing!

Rose actually seems to like his team. It's mainly the fans and media that keep looking for upgrades. Rose and the guys seem to believe that they will improve their game over the summer. While it seems like the fans wants him to beg or "ask" players to come.

I keep thinking about how the Magic were in the ECF in 2010, then with the very same itchy trigger finger, they made a bunch of questionable trades to shut the fans up because everyone was in panic mode over the Heat forming.

Hmmmm... can we learn from history here? Maybe? Maybe not?

All of Chicago's front offices are cheap. Stingy, cheap bastards. Big market teams run worse than small market teams. :smh:

Well... not really haha. I guess you would have to only look at baseball and basketball if you want to make that statement since the NFL and NHL have a hard cap.. so everything is equal.

In the NBA, the big market teams usually spend a lot of money ie the Lakers, Mavericks, Celtics, Knicks, soon to be Nets, etc.

I don't follow baseball... but from what I know, the big market teams spend a lot of money.. like the Yankees, LA, etc.

I think it might only be Chicago hahaha.

but I wouldn't even say the Bulls are being cheap or stingy. I mean.. a lot of people think Deng, boozer AND noah are overpaid. Soon they'll be giving Rose a max deal.

So the Bulls are dishing out money... they're just being dumb in terms of not wanting to part ways with their guys to help the team

Yeah, I remember that. That sounds like an example of the FO letting the fans run the team. A lot can be learn from that situation.

Bulls better lock him up and not even allow it to get to that point, after Kobe is done...no doubt the Lakers will be looking for that next Superstar

I question the Bulls Organization a little bit, this is not the 90's, while going after Wade, Bosh and LeBron last year, it really did not seem as if either had all that great of a Visit then the Wade Comment about Taking Care Of Their Own and all that stuff...then all of a Sudden they added Scottie Pippen to the Organization I guess to try and get Free Agents Attention and make them Comfortable

I do think Jerry is happy with his 6 Rings and really don't care if they win another and he is not willing to overspend to win another, if the Bulls did not luck into Rose we would still be "REBUILDING"
