I kept hearing how the Bears offensive line was ranked in the middle of the pack last year. And that was with really bad interior guys (minus Jenkins). Now we got 3 new offensive lineman that are definitely way better than what we let go. Same tackles and Jenkins in there. If we stay healthy, no way we are not ranked the same as last year. Hell, you would think we might move up a bit at least. The guys we let go are absolutely trash. Like really, trash bad. And these additions are way better than them. The new additions are not even superstars and yet they are 100 times better than our last guys. The weakest part of the Oline was C and RG... those are the two spots you hope to come out the next season most improved. New player at Center and a personal issue put behind him in that other ten million dollar guy... which I felt was waste of money from the word go.
I honestly think if we don’t trade down for more picks, I think we focus on offensive lineman till next year. But keep our eyes steadied on Connor Williams and see how he fully recovers from his injury. That could be our center of the future.
