One of the interesting statements of that article is that it said that he was ONLY 29 years old. Doesn't that writer know that Forte was old and in decline at 30?

Yeah, I jumped the gun a little. Sorry about that. The little birdie was Darrel himself. Known him since HS (Amityville NY). What can I say? He's a friend & I was just excited for him. The fact that he was talking to my favorite team was awesome too... They were talking contract because Cleveland was interested also. When Cleveland lost interest, the Bears became the only suitor so I guess there was no incentive to offer him a contract without proving himself first. Half credit is better than no credit though, haha... Anyway, he's a really good, high character guy who will work his ass off. I hope he sticks because I really believe he can help with the running game.
