correction, Pats went from top 10 CB to one of the greatest of all time as long as he is fully recovered. He was <1 year removed from an ACL and still played at an elite level. I'd take pre-ACL Revis over Sherman easily. He never had a great pass rush or safety help. He was the motor of the Jets D. Legitimately took away A whole side of the field.

I heard the same thing from Cards fans when the Eagles traded for him and Denver fans afterwards. He'll have some nice highlights and put together a few good games but the rest is penalties, blown coverage and extremely weak tackle attempts. Athletically he's #1, but when you factor in heart he's barely top 30.

Coaching was specifically the problem with DRC and the Eagles. They moved him to slot which he had no business playing. He's an outside corner.

I caught about 8 Broncos games (playoffs included). Got two Bronco fans in the office. I know I missed his best games, but I also missed his worst ones. At the end of the day I watched a lot of games where he was a complete non factor and needed a safety to bring down a ball carrier.
