Who did the Lions draft in 2017? A bum LB in the first thats out of the league. In the 2nd? Teez Tabor, another bum.

And your logic makes zero fucking sense considering most here wanted Watson.

And Mitch still won a division title, something the LIONS as a franchise have never done.

Checkmate idiot.
Before you start trying to make comparison of which franchise has drafted better in the first round, you might want to do a little fact checking.
Or, carry on as always and open your mouth and insert both feet.

How many division titles have the Lions won, loser? I see you want to dodge the question lmfao

All that "great" drafting with nothing to show for it.

How can I dodge a question that was never asked?
What a nitwit.

Because the Bears drafting Mitch having anything to do with the fans "being idiots" made so much sense

LOL. Monty went to Detroit because he was no longer going to be the #1 here, partially due to a scheme change and what do the Lions do? Draft a RB at pick #12 when the 1st RB they wanted in round one was off the board.
For what its worth, everything I have read said the Lions had JG higher on their board than BR

You are a Bears fan pretending to have a job.
Really that is what you come back at me with? That’s hilarious. Just goes to prove what I said is accurate and you have no way of responding. Just pathetic Rick, keep it up.

if they wanted Robinson, they would have taken him at 6

thanks for explaining that you take something that you want but you don't take something that you don't want. Any other nuggets of wisdom or malformed youTube links?

If we wanted Johnson, should we have taken him at 1? Drafts are fluid. It's value vs position vs player vs need vs what's available on trade. They either thought Bijan would be there or hoped so but were willing to settle to get more picks on the trade down. If they liked Gibbs that much, why didn't they take him at 6? Point is that the Lions didn't have them ranked all that differently but if Bijan was there...

Of course they'll say they preferred Gibbs after selecting him. I have never heard a GM say he wanted the player at the same position that went just before the guy he picked. They always say shit like 'I'm surprised my guy was still there' or 'he was a targeted player' etc, etc.

Let me once again get out my crayons and draw you're :) :) dumbass a picture.
DM is guaranteed 11 million.
GTFO with your monopoly money BS

11 million divided by two years is 5.5 million a year.

Learn how contracts work.
You understand the cap and contracts about as well as you understand the English language, which generously would be characterized as substandard.

DM will have made $9.25 M is he is cut by the Lions after playing one season, he will have made $12M after playing 2 years.

So he can be a overpriced 1 year rental, the highest paid 2 yr backup RB in NFL history, or a holding card JAG substitute if Gibbs is a bust. Those are the options.

Well if you are suggesting they wanted Gibbs over Robinson, they are stupider than I already think they are.

Well yeah, Except they did say they wanted Witherspoon at 6, yet he was drafted at 5. So, another fail on your part. Gibbs was a better scheme fit for the Lions. They can line DM up in the Backfield and split Gibbs with his 4.3 speed in the slot if they want.

That has to be the dumbest thing I have heard. And what if the Bears cut Edmunds after one year?
I guess RB by committee is a concept you fail to grasp?
The fact is, DM will average 5.5 mil a year.
Now take you're "L" and run along.

So cute, you don't even know when your :hawkstroll: being trolled
if you did that on purpose, which I doubt, it is even more pathetic than your proven track record of being pretty fucking dumb. There are smart Lions fans on this board. You aren't one of them

You have to love dorks that call other people dumb when they can't even grasp basic English. All so fitting for a 50 year loser fan.
