After finishing call with owners' labor relations committee, David Stern will deliver union a revised offer tonight

Owners revised offer will be working off current negotiations with players -- not the threatened 'reset' offer awaiting if talks broke down.

no deal tonight.

The Union will bring the offer to the player reps on Monday and go from there.

call me crazy, but I think the player reps are going to give the go ahead to accept the deal.

In the owners last offer, there were some player reps that wanted to accept the deal.

This deal is better... so I'm assuming even more player reps are going to accept.

if they do accept this deal, there will be a 72 game season.

If they reject.. then the owners will offer the 53-47 proposal and then all hell breaks loose.

So I see them accepting.just me though

All that basically changed, atleast based on some reports, is that teams will now have to spend 85% of their total cap, as opposed 75% in the previous CBA, and adding a new $2.5mill exception to teams over the cap. Is that enough to get a deal done? I don't know. But all it takes is 16 votes on either side.

Thanks for the updates,

I hope they accept so we can get a season and I hope that the 9 team playoff thing is true, that would be fucking Special person.

It will get done the players realize they have no leverage they had this last meeting to save face and get these new things to say they got a much better deal then the ultimatum deal which is a win for the players. Stern offering a 72 game season is huge that gives the players a shit ton of money back.

This coming from a pessimistic person who predicted for the last 2 years the whole season would be lost.

I'm starting to itch for some NBA. This is bullshit. I can see some really flukey shit happening if there is a season.

4-point line, Elbow Pads, 162 game season, return of the synthetic ball.

Be afraid, be very afraid.

Why not play with an oval as well. See how many different ways we can get the ball to bounce. :p

Players seem to be folding.

Tough shit for them.

What they don't seem to realize is that outside of maybe one or two of them the fans loyalty is to the franchise/city....not to the players.

LeBron James is a big reason the lock-out is still on-going. Apparently, he wants to get rid of the 4th quarter altogether.
