You are over-playing the talent on that team.

Anyways I wish the Pacers would spend their money on a player better then West.

I don't think that's very realistic unfortunately but I would want them to, too, if I were you. West would make them a lot better though. That's a 45-50 win team with him and Hill.

We are going after EJ next year. I went to IUPUI and watched Lance and EJ kill tonight.

Lance dropped 40 and it is very structured with NBA refs.

Welcome to The 2010 Indy Pro-AM Summer League Site

if anyone is interested in going it is amazing i sat front row and Eric Gordon was killing.

I personally think the Nets will land him. But I think the Pacers could potentially win the central division if they get West.

C- Roy Hibbert
PF- David West, Tyler Hansbrough
SF- Danny Granger, James Posey
SG- Paul George, Dahntay Jones, Lance Stephenson
PG- George Hill, Darren Collison

That team can rebound marginally well and are one of the best offensive teams. The defense would probably be in the upper half of the NBA as well.

He has indy ties but i dont like West due to his ACL and age. We are gonna get Eric Gordon next year

Lance was called "the best player on the team" by Larry Bird i believe Larry will have him be a primary backup and play with Hill they are a good fit together.

I see
Darren C 30min
George 30min
Hill 10mpg at pg the rest at the SG 30min total

Lance 20min at the SG and Sf and PG

No way. The Bulls will win the Central every year as long as D Rose is here.

David West won't put any team over the top. He already was starting to slide before the ACL tear & will only continue to get worse. Not to mention he will be absolute crap next season while still recovering from it.

The Bulls are so dependent on Rose that, if he does miss a few games, they would almost definitely lose them. It's not like winning the central division is such a great accomplishment anyway... the Bulls had it easy last year.

Nothing is guaranteed for the Bulls. West would definitely improve the Pacers on both sides of the ball. If Boozer and/or Noah have another year of lingering injuries then Indiana could slip in front of them during the regular season. It's possible.

It's also possible that the Cavs and Clippers could beat all odds and play each other in the finals. Doesn't mean it'll happen.

West is turning 31 before the season (fingers crossed there is a season) & will be coming off major knee surgery, which was performed at end of March, & typically is an 8-12month recovery, & more often than not, takes players up to 16months to regain full strength & range of motion. This guy is not helping anyone next season, let alone the Pacers, who would be stupid as hell to throw $8mill at this guy.

And who said winning the Central is a great accomplishment? I didn't, but it is an accomplishment none-the-less, one that guarantees a top 4 playoff spot. People need to stop worrying about the division (which we will own for years to come) & worry about Miami first and foremost, with NY second on the list.

Obviously, we are all worried about Miami. I'm only saying that nobody should sleep on the Pacers- West or no West.

I'm cool with David West but he won't help the Pacers defensively, just offensively. Also winning a division is always an accomplishment, nothing to downplay.

David West playing minutes at the 4 would be a step up defensively from Tyler Hansbrough, who is honestly not much more than a rebounder and mid-range jump-shooter. And, yes, winning a division is an accomplishment. However, winning the Central Division is the easiest one to win, by far.

I remember years ago when the Nets (I think) were the third seed with a record below .500 just because they won the horrible Atlantic Division.

I agree West is an upgrade overall compared to Hansbrough, but honestly I never noticed West too much on the defensive side so I can't say too much there.

I agree the Central became the easiest division last season. But that was made mainly by the Bucks falling short of most NBA analyst expectations. It would have been probably the Pacific division the easiest because they only seem to have the Lakers with the Suns falling off some this past season.
